Flamex is an aluminum, zinc & magnesium inorganic complex synergist, which has superior flame retardance as compared to traditional synergists, and dramatically reduces smoke in PVC FRLS Compound. Flamex is also a very effective flame retardant in rigid PVC (UPVC) system without the need for Antimony Trioxide.

Applications
Flame Guard in addition to being an effective flame retardant properties and can hterefore replace soe of the antimony oxide in the formulation thus reducing cost. Alternatively Flame Guard may be incorporated in addition to the Antimony Oxide thus improving the flame retardant properties of the composition. In both cases, smoke evolution will be significantly reduced.
